♥️ Fujinon Xf 27Mm F2 8 Review
The XF 23mm F1.4 is sharp. Not crazy sharp, but sharper than anything else I’ve used at 35mm from Fuji. X100 owners will see a jump in sharpness—although close focus at larger apertures are no longer an issue—as will XF 23mm F2 WR and zoom lens owners. Expect some softness in the corners at the widest apertures.
May 28, 2015. #23. The Fujfilm X20 X30 Lens Hood and Filter Kit is listed on Amazon as being a 39mm thread and so should fit the Fujinon 27mm f/2.8 lens (I don't own the lens and so can't check for sure, and others have claimed that the X30 filter is a 40mm, but a Fuji dealer should be able to confirm).

The FUJINON XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 stays quite sharp everywhere but the extreme corners. Again, the FUJINON XF 35mm f/1.4 is almost impossibly sharp to the very last pixels of the corner. Interestingly, aberrations are kept in check noticeably better by the 18-55mm. Check the branches in the top right of these crops.
But when TTArtisan asked me if I’d like to test their upcoming TTArtisan 27mm f/2.8 AF lens, I was very tempted, as you know how much I love my Fujinon XF27mm f/2.8 R WR especially in combination with my Fujifilm X-E3, which is the perfect combo to document my family life.
Fujinon XF 27mm F2.8 is a smallest native Fuji X lens. It makes camera set very compact and versatile, it's one of my favorite Fuji glass. However, like other XF lens, if any electronic component fails - lens become unusable. Sometimes repair cost is too high comparing to the price of the new lens.
It feels perfectly dampened, just like on the larger lenses like the XF 90mm f/2 and the XF 50-140 f/2.8. The XF 35mm f/2 is smaller than the XF 35mm f/1.4. It’s about half a centimeter shorter. It has the same diameter at the mount, but obviously it thins alot towards the front of the lens.
Recently I decided to convert one electronically dead Fuji XF 27mm F2.8 into manual operating lens. The idea is quite simple, and it requires relatively low effort. You can find more details on the process in following article: Fujinon XF 27mm F2.8 lens – true manual focus mod
The Fujinon 27mm f/2.8 finds a middle ground between enthusiast-oriented maximalism and the minimalism of rivals Olympus and Sony. It sheds Fuji's customary aperture ring in an effort to slim its profile to the bare minimum, but retains the series' high-quality build and respectable optical performance.
The Fujifilm XF 18mm F2 R is a 'pancake-style' lens that offers an equivalent focal length of 27mm on Fujifilm's X-series interchangeable lens cameras. One of the three prime lenses announced at the system's inception, the XF 18mm features a physical aperture ring which operates in 1/3 steps. Optical construction comprises eight elements in
XF 8mm f/3.5 R WR: Key features. The XF8mm lens boasts a massive 121-degree viewing angle, double what our human eyes can see. That means you can capture some seriously wide and unique shots. Landscape and travel photographers, as well as street shooters looking for a fresh perspective, will absolutely love what this lens brings to the table.
