Sorted by: 0. From everything I can find, sddm does not work on Raspberry Pi. Go to tty2 by hitting Ctrl-Alt-F2, log in from the CLI there then you can try to install lightdm with. sudo apt install lightdm sudo dpkg-reconfigure lightdm sudo reboot. Hopefully that works for you.
We have had many requests to make Plasma 5.27.2 available in our backports PPA for Kubuntu 22.10 (Kinetic Kudu). As usual with our PPAs, there is the caveat that the PPA may receive additional updates and new releases of KDE Plasma, Gear (Apps), and Frameworks, plus other apps and required libraries. Well, KDE Plasma 5.27 will be available in Ubuntu 23.04 âLunar Lobsterâ this April, though itâs possible the Kubuntu Backports PPA may bring this uplift to those on Ubuntu 22.10 too (not a given to happen, and if it does it wonât be right away). This update will also filter out to users of Ubuntu-based KDE neon shortly.
